February Events

Lunar New Year

Starts Feb 1

To honor Lunar New Year and our many caregivers who celebrate it, join us on February 1 at the Colby Campus Cafeteria where we will be offering a celebratory meal that represents the culture and tradition. 

World Day of the Sick

Feb. 11

At the Colby campus on Feb. 11, the chaplains will offer an overhead prayer to mark the World Day of the Sick at 10 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. There will also be prayer leaflets in the chapel, which is a blessing for the sick.

Black and African American History Month Food Celebration

Feb 21-22

To honor Black and African American History month and our Black and African American caregivers, join us on Feb. 21 and 22 at the Colby Campus Cafeteria where we will offer a traditional celebratory meal.

 

March Events

Women's History Month

Starts March 1

Please watch for our “Face the Facts” displays around Providence. They showcase women’s current inequality issues, as well as spotlight amazing women throughout history.

Poses with Providence

March 11

Poses with Providence is a series of 60-minute yoga class taught by yoga teacher and local business owner Jackie Adams. Our second session of this project will also be held virtually on March 11 at 7 p.m.

Holi

March 14-15

Holi, which dates back to the 4th century, is one of India’s most joyful celebrations. Join us on March 13 & 14 at the Colby cafeteria for a celebratory meal that represents the culture and tradition.
