PIHC Hosts Irish College Students Studying Abroad

Georgina and Vincent supported outreach and conducted on-site observations at Providence

This spring, Providence Institute for Healthier Communities will host two college students from Ireland as part of fieldwork for their Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Health Promotion. Christina and Evan are students at Waterford Institute of Technology. They’re splitting their time in Washington between PIHC and Public Health – Seattle King County.

The focus of their work with PIHC is to gain a better understanding of the American hospital system through on-site observations at Colby and Pacific.

Last week, we got together for brunch a decorated eggs. We had a great time meeting them and learning about Ireland.

Big thanks to Christina and Evan for their work for Providence Institute for Healthier Communities. We’re excited to spend more time with them this spring!
