Providence Regional Medical Center Everett led the pack for Healthier Communities Day with the Everett Aquasox. This annual event brings together several of our Providence Swedish service lines to share preventative health education information, along with bringing awareness to our community with what services and resources are available here in Snohomish County. A huge thank you and special shout out to all our volunteers and service lines in attendance – Thank you, Neurosciences Center | Providence Regional Medical Center | Everett, WA | Providence, Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County | Providence, Behavioral Health Urgent Care Everett | Providence, Inpatient Behavioral Health | Everett, WA | Providence, Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse Everett | Providence, and Swedish Cancer Institute | Swedish.
We also couldn’t have had as successful as this event was without our community partners Citrine Health, Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, WA State Alzheimer’s Association.
This year’s event happened to land on Everett Aquasox mascot Webbly’s birthday! Kids ran the bases and it was mascot mania. The AquaSox defeated the Hillsboro Hops in front of 2,580 fans at Funko Field.
