Caregivers joined together for a Sunday at the ballpark rooting for the Everett Aquasox. This annual event brings together several of our Providence Swedish service lines to share preventative health education information, along with bringing awareness to our community with what services and resources are available here in Snohomish County.
A huge thank you and special shout out to all our volunteers and service lines in attendance – Thank you to our Behavioral Health Team, Stroke Support, Trauma and Injury Prevention, and Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse. Providence Institute for a Healthier Community was also on site and joined in on the fun sharing with kids and families health education nutrition information Seasons of Eating and handouts for our resource hub and where to access resources at www.livewelllocal.org. Folks of all ages played a fun trivia game motivating them to eat more fruits and vegetables and testing their knowledge of fruits and veggies.
This year’s event hosted a special guest appearance by Bluey! Families of all ages had the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Bluey. The Everett Aquasox landed a big win against the Hillsboro Hops with 3,482 fans at Funko Field. Go Frogs!
