Hand in Hand Back to School Event

Many joined the fun at the Hand in Hand Back to School Resource Fair August 28

Many joined the fun at the Hand in Hand Back to School Resource Fair August 28, 11am-1:00 p.m. at Mariner Park and Ride. This was FREE community event for children of all ages and included backpacks, school supplies, games and activities, school and community resource information, entertainment and much more. Providence Institute for a Healthier Community and Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse, along with several local organizations were on hand to offer education and resource connections to over the 100 students and families who attended.

We all kept very busy with interactive re-think your drink quiz, and sharing how to access our many local community resources through Snohomish County Resource Hub LiveWellLocal,  hosted by PIHC.

A big shout out to Luz Yaneth Balleza, Outreach Coordinator for Hand in Hand. Luz was integral in coordinating this event and all the amazing community partners.
