Community Health Improvement Week is June 9-13. This is a week to honor those working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities, while inspiring all hospitals and health systems across the country to explore new ways to better serve their communities.
Providence Swedish North Puget Sound Community Health Improvement Plan outlines our commitment to the community need priorities of mental health and access to care. You can learn more about those strategies here.
Here at PIHC we wanted to take a moment to celebrate our partnerships that are helping to build healthier, stronger communities including:
- Listening to community voices through conducting research on local well-being trends that expands the conversation about health beyond traditional medical care. Learn more about the latest well-being trends here.
- Serving as a hub, connecting people and communities to information and community resources. Connect with local resources here.
- Building partnerships with community to bridge gaps in information and access and reaching communities where they live, work and play. Find us in community here or learn more about additional partnerships here.
